Cappella is a choir for mixed voice, with approximately 30 members, based in Dublin. Some of our members have been singing together for over a decade.

We are looking for new members !!

Cappella’s present formation dates from January 1998 when Vincent Whelan became Musical Director. From the outset it was decided to combine competitive singing with concert performances

We regularly sing at concerts to raise funds for charity. Our participation in concerts has taken us to Britain, France, Germany Austria and the Czech Republic in the recent years.

On the concert platform we have sung for the president of Ireland, and performed with international artists at the National Concert Hall. Cappella has made its mark on the competition circuit, winning prizes in Ireland and Britain.

Cappella likes to sing a mixed repertoire ranging from well know light pieces to Irish Traditional pieces, to classical and Sacred Music.
